Julianne Duffy

I love yoga, it has been a huge part of my life for the last 14 years. 6 years ago, I took the leap and was trained and certified in the style of Hatha Yoga through Gaiatri Yoga Studio.   Since then I have been teaching yoga throughout the City of Calgary, leading an assortment of classes.  Specializing in Restorative and Gentle Hatha Yoga styles, focusing on breathwork and mediation.

Fitness has always been my true love.  Prior to my yoga path I was an AFLCA Certified Personal Trainer for many years.  Personal training combined with my passion for yoga has lead me to continuing my knowledge and understanding of therapeutic alternatives, coming into the greatness of aromatherapy mixed with a mind body fitness program.  This has allowed me to come full circle into my passions to help others improve their fitness and state of mind.

My personal style is always developing and transitioning. My intention in every session is for my practioners to finish feeling completely satisfied and more fulfilled within their personal practice, life and state of mind. 

As I continue to grow through my own my personal practice, I constantly strive to learn more.  

In my spare time, I have taught and volunteered for the MS Society and their Yoga Programs.  I also volunteered with V.O.N (Victorian Order of Nurses) for a number of years specifically working with their SMART program (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together).

My experience and interests has provided me a very well rounded understanding of the true 8 limbs of yoga and all that it has to offer and I would be grateful for the opportunity to teach you.
